I want to share a story!

Growing up I always remembered seeing a Pat O'Brien's Hurricane glass in my family's kitchen. Mom got it while living in New Orleans back in the 60s when she was my age - 26. When the opportunity for me to visit NOLA arose mission number one was to get a glass of my own. I finally made it there May 8 2002 and had that Hurricane...okay, I had a couple...but anyway, the drink and the atmosphere were both fantastic! Sadly, my treasured glass didn't even make it as far as the car before it broke. (Drinking and walking while holding a fragile object DON'T mix!) But that gives me a great excuse for a return trip!
