want to share a story!
Hello James,
My name is Gary and I was in Pat O'Brien's a week ago Sunday
with two friends from Mobile, Alabama. We really enjoyed your
music a lot. I was in New Orleans all last week for a conference
and came in Friday evening and listed to you for about an hour
but never came up to say hello because it was a little crazy
in the place and you were very busy with the crowd. You are a
great entertainer.
I lived in Mobile, Alabama for 24 years and moved to Jackson,
Mississippi four years ago with a job. I really miss Mobile and
especially my friends there. We met in New Orleans and had a
great weekend together. I always enjoy Pat O'Brien's piano bar
and we all know Barbara Bennett. She used to come to Mobile on
Sunday nights and play at a bar there and we would all go and
enjoy her music...She really spoke very highly of you and told
us to stay and enjoy your music. I am so glad that we did....
I know that you meet a lot of people but I just wanted to
let you know that I really enjoyed your music very much. I sing
and play a little and people do not know how difficult it can
be sometimes... You take care and I hope we can visit in New
Orleans again very soon and that you will be at Pat's when we
come by.....
