We Would All be in Trouble!
And everyone has their own story of

remember it! If so, feel free to post your comments here....

I
want to share a story!
In March of 2001, I visited New Orleans to see my best friend
(a native) and to experience all that is Mardi Gras. On Lundi
Gras (the Monday before Fat Tuesday) we went to the river to
see Rex come across from the West Bank. The crowds were huge,
and we had gotten there kinda late so we couldn't see much except
a fireboat squirting water. We decided to walk around and hit
Jax Brewery and grab dinner. Well, unbeknownst to us, Pat O's
had opened a new waterfront cafe. We decided to go grab a couple
of po' boys and have a hurricane (or two, or three...). We got
up there, and all the crowds had gone to the riverfront to see
Rex, so the restaurant was kinda bare. We got seated on a blacony,
had wonderful food, great drinks, and amazing service (as always).
But to top it all off, we saw Rex come across the Mississippi
River from the best view of it: above it all! We saw that fireboat,
the people, Rex, fireworks, and the whole party happening below
us while we knocked back hurricanes.! We felt like kings ourselves!
And after knocking back a few hurricanes, we KNEW we were kings!
Thank to all the good folk at Pat O's for making us feel liek
royalty that night!
