We Would All be in Trouble!
 And everyone has their own story of
their favorite Pat O'Brien's experience--that is, if you can
remember it! If so, feel free to post your comments here....

want to share a story!
My boyfriend, Doug..and
I decided that it was time to take our first vacation together.
We decided on Mardi Gras in New Orleans. We arrived in The Big
Easy on Friday, Feb.23 and stayed until the 29th. We had done
the parade thing, and hit all of the expensive restaurants.....but,
had done absolutely no shopping for our friends and family that
we had left back home. Soooooo.....on Ash Wednesday, we decided
that it was time to do some shopping. After a few hours in the
quarter and the French Market......we were thirsty and in need
of a cold drink.......We wondered into the piano bar....planning
on having one drink.......that was our limit.....we had shopping
to do! After several hours of singing and.....uh, several tall
glasses of red stuff on the table...his cell phone rings......it's
our friends wondering where we were.....To make a long story
short.....they have to come get us.....because we can't find
our car. They had to bring us back early the next morning to
find our car. We remembered where it was parked the next morning....after
the hurricanes wore off. We still had shopping to do.....I tried
to talk him into another drink ...but, to no avail. BUT, we
will be back next year and plan another day at Pat O'Brien's.....we
mutually decided that this was our best day. We had a great
time...getting trashed and singing with the crowd.......Thanks
for some wonderful memories.....
