If the Fountain Could Talk

We Would All be in Trouble!
And everyone has their own story of

remember it! If so, feel free to post your comments here....

I
want to share a story!
Here is what I would like to post for "If the fountain
could talk"!
Dear Fountain:
My great uncle, Oliver Ragsdale, was reportedly a mandolin and
piano player at Pat OBriens for many years. He was a fine
man, and had a fine family who I met some 20 years ago. How time
flies. My wife and I are visiting New Orleans this weekend (with
about a million close personal friends at Mardi Gras).
So we plan on visiting Pat Os of course.
The only time I remember meeting Uncle Oliver about 1963,
when I was about 15. I recall that the family didnt
discuss that Uncle Oliver worked in a BAR as a musician.
That was another world!!
I noticed on website there are many long-time employees
by some chance some of them might remember Oliver. If the story
is accurate, and my memory as well.
Best Regards,
James Wallace
