I want to share a story!

Here is what I would like to post for "If the fountain could talk"!

Dear Fountain:

I started going to New Orleans with my folks in the early 70’s. They loved to go to Pete Fountain’s and I would come to Pat O’Brien’s. I remember Glenn in the Main Bar as a fixture of the place, he was still there last year. I’ll be returning to NOLA tomorrow and plan on seeing Glenn during my visit.

I’ve met many wonderful people while in the Main Bar. One couple who were die hard Auburn fans, I’m an Oklahoma University graduate but we got a long great back in the 70’s. I found them at Pat O’s many times through the years. It was always a big surprise to see them again.

When my wife celebrated her 50th, I had her son and daughter-in-law fly down and meet her for a surprise in the bar. It was quite a surprise too! She had no idea who those strangers were that asked her for a light. WOW when she figured it out.
